surah Anbiya aya 88 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 88]
21:88 So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishSo I accepted his call and saved him from that severe distress by taking him out from all the darknesses including from the belly of the Whale.
Just like I saved Jonah from this distress of his, I also save the believers when they fall into distress and call out to Me for help.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers (who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness).

Faistajabna lahu wanajjaynahu mina alghammi wakathalika nunjee almumineena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith.

So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers.
