﴿۞ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَنتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ﴾
[ البقرة: 92]

English - Sahih International

2:92 And Moses had certainly brought you clear proofs. Then you took the calf [in worship] after that, while you were wrongdoers.

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

And also, your prophet Moses ( peace be upon him ), brought clear signs to you, proving that what he said was true.
But after that you made the calf into a god and worshipped it, when Moses had gone to meet his Lord.
You were wrongdoers for worshipping others alongside Allah, since only He is worthy of worship.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And indeed Musa (Moses) came to you with clear proofs, yet you worshipped the calf after he left, and you were Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).

Walaqad jaakum moosa bialbayyinati thumma ittakhathtumu alAAijla min baAAdihi waantum thalimoona

There came to you Moses with clear (Signs); yet ye worshipped the calf (Even) after that, and ye did behave wrongfully.
