Death is an Inevitable Decree in the Holy Quran

(144) Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful.

(145) And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful.

(154) Then after distress, He sent down upon you security [in the form of] drowsiness, overcoming a faction of you, while another faction worried about themselves, thinking of Allah other than the truth - the thought of ignorance, saying, "Is there anything for us [to have done] in this matter?" Say, "Indeed, the matter belongs completely to Allah." They conceal within themselves what they will not reveal to you. They say, "If there was anything we could have done in the matter, some of us would not have been killed right here." Say, "Even if you had been inside your houses, those decreed to be killed would have come out to their death beds." [It was] so that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purify what is in your hearts. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.

(185) Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

(78) Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction. But if good comes to them, they say, "This is from Allah "; and if evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you." Say, "All [things] are from Allah." So what is [the matter] with those people that they can hardly understand any statement?

(34) And We did not grant to any man before you eternity [on earth]; so if you die - would they be eternal?

(35) Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.

(15) Then indeed, after that you are to die.

(57) Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned.

(11) Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned."

(30) Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die.

(19) And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.

(26) Everyone upon the earth will perish,

(60) We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone

(8) Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do."

(11) But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
