﴿أَمَّنۡ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيۡلِ سَاجِدٗا وَقَآئِمٗا يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَيَرۡجُواْ رَحۡمَةَ رَبِّهِۦۗ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ ﴾ [Az-Zumar: 9] (9) Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding. |
(29) [It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the settlement. ﴿قَالُواْ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِكُمۡۖ أَنتُمۡ قَدَّمۡتُمُوهُ لَنَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ ﴾ [Ṣād: 60] (60) They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." |
﴿وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنٗا وَٱرۡزُقۡ أَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ مِنۡهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلٗا ثُمَّ أَضۡطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 126] (126) And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits - whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day." [Allah] said. "And whoever disbelieves - I will grant him enjoyment for a little; then I will force him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination." Surah: Al-Baqarah - Verse: 126 - Juz: 1 - Page: 19 ﴿أَفَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضۡوَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَنۢ بَآءَ بِسَخَطٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ ﴾ [Āl-‘Imrān: 162] (162) So is one who pursues the pleasure of Allah like one who brings upon himself the anger of Allah and whose refuge is Hell? And wretched is the destination. ﴿وَمَن يُوَلِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ دُبُرَهُۥٓ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفٗا لِّقِتَالٍ أَوۡ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٖ فَقَدۡ بَآءَ بِغَضَبٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ ﴾ [Al-Anfāl: 16] (16) And whoever turns his back to them on such a day, unless swerving [as a strategy] for war or joining [another] company, has certainly returned with anger [upon him] from Allah, and his refuge is Hell - and wretched is the destination. |
﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ أَخَذَتۡهُ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِۚ فَحَسۡبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 206] (206) And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place. Surah: Al-Baqarah - Verse: 206 - Juz: 2 - Page: 32 ﴿قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَتُغۡلَبُونَ وَتُحۡشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴾ [Āl-‘Imrān: 12] (12) Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place." (197) [It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place. |
﴿يَقۡدُمُ قَوۡمَهُۥ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَأَوۡرَدَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡوِرۡدُ ٱلۡمَوۡرُودُ ﴾ [Hūd: 98] (98) He will precede his people on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire; and wretched is the place to which they are led. |
﴿إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ بَشِيرٗا وَنَذِيرٗاۖ وَلَا تُسۡـَٔلُ عَنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 119] (119) Indeed, We have sent you, [O Muhammad], with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner, and you will not be asked about the companions of Hellfire. Surah: Al-Baqarah - Verse: 119 - Juz: 1 - Page: 18 ﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ ﴾ [Al-Mā’idah: 10] (10) But those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those are the companions of Hellfire. Surah: Al-Mā’idah - Verse: 10 - Juz: 6 - Page: 109 ﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ ﴾ [Al-Mā’idah: 86] (86) But those who disbelieved and denied Our signs - they are the companions of Hellfire. Surah: Al-Mā’idah - Verse: 86 - Juz: 7 - Page: 122 |
﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ أَخَذَتۡهُ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِۚ فَحَسۡبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 206] (206) And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place. Surah: Al-Baqarah - Verse: 206 - Juz: 2 - Page: 32 |
(10) They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? Surah: An-Nāzi‘āt - Verse: 10 - Juz: 30 - Page: 583 |
(4) No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. (5) And what can make you know what is the Crusher? |
﴿۞ أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ بَدَّلُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ كُفۡرٗا وَأَحَلُّواْ قَوۡمَهُمۡ دَارَ ٱلۡبَوَارِ ﴾ [Ibrāhīm: 28] (28) Have you not considered those who exchanged the favor of Allah for disbelief and settled their people [in] the home of ruin? |
﴿ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ أَعۡدَآءِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّارُۖ لَهُمۡ فِيهَا دَارُ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجۡحَدُونَ ﴾ [Fuṣṣilat: 28] (28) That is the recompense of the enemies of Allah - the Fire. For them therein is the home of eternity as recompense for what they, of Our verses, were rejecting. |
﴿وَكَتَبۡنَا لَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأَلۡوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مَّوۡعِظَةٗ وَتَفۡصِيلٗا لِّكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ فَخُذۡهَا بِقُوَّةٖ وَأۡمُرۡ قَوۡمَكَ يَأۡخُذُواْ بِأَحۡسَنِهَاۚ سَأُوْرِيكُمۡ دَارَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ ﴾ [Al-A‘rāf: 145] (145) And We wrote for him on the tablets [something] of all things - instruction and explanation for all things, [saying], "Take them with determination and order your people to take the best of it. I will show you the home of the defiantly disobedient." |
(62) Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum? ﴿إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ ٱلزَّقُّومِ ﴾ [Ad-Dukhān: 43] (43) Indeed, the tree of zaqqum (52) Will be eating from trees of zaqqum Surah: Al-Wāqi‘ah - Verse: 52 - Juz: 27 - Page: 536 |
﴿فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ ﴾ [An-Nāzi‘āt: 14] (14) And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. Surah: An-Nāzi‘āt - Verse: 14 - Juz: 30 - Page: 583 |
﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَأۡكُلُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَ ٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ ظُلۡمًا إِنَّمَا يَأۡكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمۡ نَارٗاۖ وَسَيَصۡلَوۡنَ سَعِيرٗا ﴾ [An-Nisā’: 10] (10) Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze. ﴿فَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ ءَامَنَ بِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مَّن صَدَّ عَنۡهُۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِجَهَنَّمَ سَعِيرًا ﴾ [An-Nisā’: 55] (55) And some among them believed in it, and some among them were averse to it. And sufficient is Hell as a blaze. ﴿كُتِبَ عَلَيۡهِ أَنَّهُۥ مَن تَوَلَّاهُ فَأَنَّهُۥ يُضِلُّهُۥ وَيَهۡدِيهِ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ﴾ [Al-Ḥajj: 4] (4) It has been decreed for every devil that whoever turns to him - he will misguide him and will lead him to the punishment of the Blaze. |
(48) The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." (26) I will drive him into Saqar. (27) And what can make you know what is Saqar? |
(27) So Allah conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire. |
﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّعۡنَةُ وَلَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ ﴾ [Ar-Ra‘d: 25] (25) But those who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth - for them is the curse, and they will have the worst home. ﴿يَوۡمَ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡۖ وَلَهُمُ ٱللَّعۡنَةُ وَلَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ ﴾ [Ghāfir: 52] (52) The Day their excuse will not benefit the wrongdoers, and they will have the curse, and they will have the worst home. |
﴿ثُمَّ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔواْ ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ أَن كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُواْ بِهَا يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ﴾ [Ar-Rūm: 10] (10) Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them. |
﴿كـَلَّآۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ ﴾ [Al-Ma‘ārij: 15] (15) No! Indeed, it is the Flame [of Hell], Surah: Al-Ma‘ārij - Verse: 15 - Juz: 29 - Page: 569 |
﴿فَإِن لَّمۡ تَفۡعَلُواْ وَلَن تَفۡعَلُواْ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِي وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُۖ أُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 24] (24) But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers. Surah: Al-Baqarah - Verse: 24 - Juz: 1 - Page: 4 |
﴿فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ ﴾ [Al-Qāri‘ah: 9] (9) His refuge will be an abyss. Surah: Al-Qāri‘ah - Verse: 9 - Juz: 30 - Page: 600 |
