Verse 146 from surah Al-Araf

﴿سَأَصْرِفُ عَنْ آيَاتِيَ الَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوْا كُلَّ آيَةٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوا بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوْا سَبِيلَ الرُّشْدِ لَا يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلًا وَإِن يَرَوْا سَبِيلَ الْغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 146]

जो लोग (ख़ुदा की) ज़मीन पर नाहक़ अकड़ते फिरते हैं उनको अपनी आयतों से बहुत जल्द फेर दूंगा और मै क्या फेरूंगा ख़ुदा (उसका दिल ऐसा सख्त है कि) अगर दुनिया जहॉन के सारे मौजिज़े भी देखते तो भी ये उन पर ईमान न लाएगें और (अगर) सीधा रास्ता भी देख पाएं तो भी अपनी राह न जाएगें और अगर गुमराही की राह देख लेगें तो झटपट उसको अपना तरीक़ा बना लेगें ये कजरवी इस सबब से हुई कि उन लोगों ने हमारी आयतों को झुठला दिया और उनसे ग़फलत करते रहे

48. अर्थात तुम्हें उनपर विजय दूँगा जो अवज्ञाकारी हैं, जैसे उस समय की अमालिक़ा इत्यादि जातियों पर। 49. अर्थात जो जान-बूझकर अवज्ञा करेगा, अल्लाह का नियम यही है कि वह तर्कों तथा प्रकाशों से प्रभावित होने की योग्यता खो देगा। इस का यह अर्थ नहीं कि अल्लाह किसी को अकारण कुपथ पर बाध्य कर देता है।

जो लोग धरती में नाहक़ बड़े बनते है, मैं अपनी निशानियों की ओर से उन्हें फेर दूँगा। यदि वे प्रत्येक निशानी देख ले तब भी वे उस पर ईमान नहीं लाएँगे। यदि वे सीधा मार्ग देख लें तो भी वे उसे अपना मार्ग नहीं बनाएँगे। लेकिन यदि वे पथभ्रष्ट का मार्ग देख लें तो उसे अपना मार्ग ठहरा लेंगे। यह इसलिए की उन्होंने हमारी आयतों को झुठलाया और उनसे ग़ाफ़िल रहे

Quran Urdu translation

جو لوگ زمین میں ناحق غرور کرتے ہیں ان کو اپنی آیتوں سے پھیر دوں گا۔ اگر یہ سب نشانیاں بھی دیکھ لیں تب بھی ان پر ایمان نہ لائیں اور اگر راستی کا رستہ دیکھیں تو اسے (اپنا) رستہ نہ بنائیں۔ اور اگر گمراہی کی راہ دیکھیں تو اسے رستہ بنالیں۔ یہ اس لیے کہ انہوں نے ہماری آیات کو جھٹلایا اور ان سے غفلت کرتے رہے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(7:146) I shall turn away from My signs those who, without any right, behaved haughtily in the earth, *104 even if they may, witness each and every, sign, they shall not believe therein. And even if they see the right path, they shall still not follow it; but if they see the path of error. they shall choose it for their path. This is because they rejected Our signs as false and were heedless to them.

*104). It is God's law that evil-doers do not and cannot take any lesson from the otherwise instructive events which they observe. The arrogance mentioned here refers to man's delusion that he is on a higher plane than God's creatures and servants. It is this which prompts him to disregard God's command and to adopt an attitude which suggests that he neither considers himself God's servant, nor God his Lord. Such egotism has no basis in fact; it is sheer vanity. For as long as man live on God's earth, what can justify his living as a servant of anyone other than the Lord of the universe? It is for this reason that the Qur'an declares this arrogance to be 'without any right'.

Saasrifu AAan ayatiya allatheena yatakabbaroona fee alardi bighayri alhaqqi wain yaraw kulla ayatin la yuminoo biha wain yaraw sabeela alrrushdi la yattakhithoohu sabeelan wain yaraw sabeela alghayyi yattakhithoohu sabeelan thalika biannahum kaththaboo biayatina wakanoo AAanha ghafileena

I will turn away from My signs those who are arrogant upon the earth without right; and if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. And if they see the way of consciousness, they will not adopt it as a way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt it as a way. That is because they have denied Our signs and they were heedless of them.

আমি আমার নিদর্শনসমূহ হতে তাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে রাখি, যারা পৃথিবীতে অন্যায়ভাবে গর্ব করে। যদি তারা সমস্ত নিদর্শন প্রত্যক্ষ করে ফেলে, তবুও তা বিশ্বাস করবে না। আর যদি হেদায়েতের পথ দেখে, তবে সে পথ গ্রহণ করে না। অথচ গোমরাহীর পথ দেখলে তাই গ্রহণ করে নেয়। এর কারণ, তারা আমার নিদর্শনসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে মনে করেছে এবং তা থেকে বেখবর রয়ে গেছে।

  7. और ख़ुदा के साथ दूसरा माबूद न बनाओ मैं तुमको यक़ीनन उसकी तरफ से खुल्लम
  8. ता सीन मीम
  9. उनके इल्म की यही इन्तिहा है तुम्हारा परवरदिगार, जो उसके रास्ते से भटक गया उसको
  10. (ऐ रसूल) ग़ालिब व दाना ख़ुदा तुम्हारी तरफ़ और जो (पैग़म्बर) तुमसे पहले गुज़रे उनकी
