﴿فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ﴾
[ آل عمران: 39]

अभी ज़करिया हुजरे में खड़े (ये) दुआ कर ही रहे थे कि फ़रिश्तों ने उनको आवाज़ दी कि ख़ुदा तुमको यहया (के पैदा होने) की खुशख़बरी देता है जो जो कलेमतुल्लाह (ईसा) की तस्दीक़ करेगा और (लोगों का) सरदार होगा और औरतों की तरफ़ रग़बत न करेगा और नेको कार नबी होगा

तो फ़रिश्तों ने उसे आवाज़ दी, जबकि वह मेहराब में खड़ा नमाज़ पढ़ रहा था, "अल्लाह, तुझे यह्याि की शुभ-सूचना देता है, जो अल्लाह के एक कलिमें की पुष्टि करनेवाला, सरदार, अत्यन्त संयमी और अच्छे लोगो में से एक नबी होगा।"

وہ ابھی عبادت گاہ میں کھڑے نماز ہی پڑھ رہے تھے کہ فرشتوں نے آواز دی کہ (زکریا) خدا تمہیں یحییٰ کی بشارت دیتا ہے جو خدا کے فیض یعنی (عیسیٰ) کی تصدیق کریں گے اور سردار ہوں گے اور عورتوں سے رغبت نہ رکھنے والے اور (خدا کے) پیغمبر (یعنی) نیکو کاروں میں ہوں گے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(3:39) As he stood praying in the sanctuary, the angels called out to him: 'Allah gives you good tidings of John (Yahya), *38 who shall confirm a command of Allah , *39 shall be outstanding among men, utterly chaste, and a Prophet from among the righteous.'

So the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in meaning

*38). In the Bible his name is mentioned as John the Baptist. For information about him see Matthew 3, 9 and 14: Mark 1 and 6; Luke 1 and 3.
*39). The 'command from Allah' signifies Jesus (peace be on him). His birth took place as the result of an extraordinary command from God and in an unusual manner, hence he is designated as 'the command' or 'word' from Allah.

So the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, "Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous."

যখন তিনি কামরার ভেতরে নামাযে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন, তখন ফেরেশতারা তাঁকে ডেকে বললেন যে, আল্লাহ তোমাকে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন ইয়াহইয়া সম্পর্কে, যিনি সাক্ষ্য দেবেন আল্লাহর নির্দেশের সত্যতা সম্পর্কে, যিনি নেতা হবেন এবং নারীদের সংস্পর্শে যাবেন না, তিনি অত্যন্ত সৎকর্মশীল নবী হবেন।

  6. (ये वही लोग हैं) जो (आप चैन से घरों में बैठे रहते है और अपने
  7. वह वही खुदा है जिसने रूए ज़मीन में तुम लोगों को (अगलों का) जानशीन बनाया
  8. और तुम को क्या मालूम कि वह खड़खड़ाने वाली क्या है
  9. और हमने उसे इल्म लदुन्नी (अपने ख़ास इल्म) में से कुछ सिखाया था मूसा ने
  10. (जब फूँके) और हसद करने वाले की बुराई से
