ये हमारी क़ौम के लोग है, जिन्होंने उससे इतर कुछ अन्य पूज्य-प्रभु बना लिए है। आख़िर ये उनके हक़ में कोई स्पष्ट, प्रमाण क्यों नहीं लाते! भला उससे बढ़कर ज़ालिम कौन होगा जो झूठ घड़कर अल्लाह पर थोपे?

ان ہماری قوم کے لوگوں نے اس کے سوا اور معبود بنا رکھے ہیں۔ بھلا یہ ان (کے خدا ہونے) پر کوئی کھلی دلیل کیوں نہیں لاتے۔ تو اس سے زیادہ کون ظالم ہے جو خدا پر جھوٹ افتراء کرے

(18:15) (Then they held mutual consultations, saying,) "These people of ours have given up the Lord of the universe and adopted other deities. Why do they not bring forward any clear argument in support of their creed? Well, who can be more wicked than the one who forges a lie against Allah?
