Verse 46 from surah Ibrahim

﴿وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ﴾
[ إبراهيم: 46]

और वह लोग अपनी चालें चलते हैं (और कभी बाज़ न आए) हालॉकि उनकी सब हालतें खुदा की नज़र में थी और अगरचे उनकी मक्कारियाँ (उस गज़ब की) थीं कि उन से पहाड़ (अपनी जगह से) हट जाये

वे अपनी चाल चल चुक हैं। अल्लाह के पास भी उनके लिए चाल मौजूद थी, यद्यपि उनकी चाल ऐसी ही क्यों न रही हो जिससे पर्वत भी अपने स्थान से टल जाएँ

Quran Urdu translation

اور انہوں نے (بڑی بڑی) تدبیریں کیں اور ان کی (سب) تدبیریں خدا کے ہاں (لکھی ہوئی) ہیں گو وہ تدبیریں ایسی (غضب کی) تھیں کہ ان سے پہاڑ بھی ٹل جائیں

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(14:46) They had tried all their cunning devices to outwit Us but Allah had the remedy to counteract their devices, even though these were so powerful as to move mountains. " *55

And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their meaning

*55) That is, "You have seen that the former people who violated the Divine Law, and who opposed the Message, devised very effective and cunning schemes to avert the consequences of their iniquity, but AIIah defeated them with His single counter-device. You did not give up your crafty schemes against the Message of Truth in the vain hope that your "strong" measures would succeed where the schemes of your predecessors had failed.

Waqad makaroo makrahum waAAinda Allahi makruhum wain kana makruhum litazoola minhu aljibalu

And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains.

তারা নিজেদের মধ্যে ভীষণ চক্রান্ত করে নিয়েছে এবং আল্লাহর সামনে রক্ষিত আছে তাদের কু-চক্রান্ত। তাদের কুটকৌশল পাহাড় টলিয়ে দেয়ার মত হবে না।

  2. कहने लगे (कि ये सब तो कुछ नहीं) बल्कि हमने अपने बाप दादाओं को ऐसा
  3. और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र एख्तेयार किया उन की मिसाल तो उस शख्स की मिसाल
  4. तुम तक अपने परवरदिगार के पैग़ामात पहुचाएं देता हूँ और तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारी ख़ैर ख्वाही
  5. भला जो शख्स ख़ुदा की ख़ुशनूदी का पाबन्द हो क्या वह उस शख्स के बराबर
  6. तो उस दिन ख़ुदा ऐसा अज़ाब करेगा कि किसी ने वैसा अज़ाब न किया होगा
  7. उन लोगों की दोज़ख़ में चिंघाड़ होगी और ये लोग (अपने शोर व ग़ुल में)
  8. और जिन्हें तुम पूजते हो मैं उनका पूजने वाला नहीं
  9. और जब उनके सामने हमारी वाज़ेए व रौशन आयतें पढ़ी जाती थीं तो बाहम कहते
  10. जो लोग पहले गुज़र गए उनके बारे में (भी) खुदा की (यही) आदत (जारी) रही
