﴿وَمَا كَانَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِالْآخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِي شَكٍّ ۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيظٌ﴾
[ سبأ: 21]

Pero no tenía ningún poder sobre ellos, sólo fue para que distinguiéramos a quien creía en la Última Vida de quien estaba en duda sobre ella. Tu Señor está Atento a todas las cosas.

[El demonio] no tenía poder sobre ellos, sino [que les susurró] para que se hiciera evidente quién creía en la otra vida y quién de ellos tenía dudas. Tu Señor está atento a todas las cosas.

21. Y no tenía autoridad sobre ellos, salvo para que (Al-lah los pusiese a prueba y) se evidenciaraquiénes creían verdaderamente en la otra vida y quiénes dudaban sobre ella. Y tu Señor observa y registra todas las cosas.

And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian.
