﴿مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ مِن بَحِيرَةٍ وَلَا سَائِبَةٍ وَلَا وَصِيلَةٍ وَلَا حَامٍ ۙ وَلَٰكِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ ۖ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ﴾

फिर (जब बरदाश्त न हो सका तो) उसके मुन्किर हो गए ख़ुदा ने न तो कोई बहीरा (कान फटी ऊँटनी) मुक़र्रर किया है न सायवा (साँढ़) न वसीला (जुडवा बच्चे) न हाम (बुढ़ा साँढ़) मुक़र्रर किया है मगर कुफ्फ़ार ख़ुदा पर ख्वाह मा ख्वाह झूठ (मूठ) बोहतान बाँधते हैं और उनमें के अक्सर नहीं समझते

Surah Al-Maidah Hindi

70. अरब के मिश्रणवादी देवी- देवता के नाम पर कुछ पशुओं को छोड़ देते थे, और उन्हें पवित्र समझते थे, यहाँ उन्हीं की चर्चा की गई है। बह़ीरा- वह ऊँटनी जिसे उसका कान चीर कर देवताओं के लिए मुक्त कर दिया जाता था, और उसका दूध कोई नहीं दूह सकता था। साइबा- वह पशु जिसे देवताओं के नाम पर मुक्त कर देते थे, जिसपर न कोई बोझ लाद सकता था, न सवार हो सकता था। वसीला- वह ऊँटनी जिसका पहला तथा दूसरा बच्चा मादा हो, ऐसी ऊँटनी को भी देवताओं के नाम पर मुक्त कर देते थे। ह़ाम- नर जिसके वीर्य से दस बच्चे हो जाएँ, उन्हें भी देवताओं के नाम पर साँड बना कर मुक्त कर दिया जाता था। भावार्थ यह है कि ये अनर्गल चीजें हैं। अल्लाह ने इनका आदेश नहीं दिया है। नबी (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) ने कहा : मैंने नरक को देखा कि उसकी ज्वाला एक दूसरे को तोड़ रही है। और अमर बिन लुह़य्य को देखा कि वह अपनी आँतें खींच रहा है। उसी ने सबसे पहले साइबा बनाया था। (बुख़ारी : 4624)

अल्लाह ने न कोई 'बहीरा' ठहराया है और न 'सायबा' और न 'वसीला' और न 'हाम', परन्तु इनकार करनेवाले अल्लाह पर झूठ का आरोपण करते है और उनमें अधिकतर बुद्धि से काम नहीं लेते

خدا نے نہ تو بحیرہ کچھ چیز بنایا ہے اور نہ سائبہ اور نہ وصیلہ اور نہ حام بلکہ کافر خدا پر جھوٹ افترا کرتے ہیں اور یہ اکثر عقل نہیں رکھتے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(5:103) Allah has neither appointed (cattle devoted to idols such as) Bahirah, Sa'ibah, Wasilah nor Ham; *118but those who disbelieve forge lies against Allah and of them most have no understanding (and therefore succumb to such superstitions).

Just as, in the Indian subcontinent, cows, oxen and goats are set free after being consecrated either to God or to some idol or shrine or to some saintly person, and just as people consider it prohibited either to put them to work, to slaughter them or to derive any other kind of benefit from them, so the Arabs of the Jahiliyah period also let loose certain animals after consecrating them. Such animals were variously named.
Bahirah was the name of a female camel which had already borne five young, the last of which was a male. The practice was to slit the ear of such a camel and then let her loose. Thereafter no one could ride her, use her milk, slaughter her or shear her hair. She was entitled to graze and drink water wherever she liked.
Sa'ibah was the name of either a male or female camel which had been let loose after consecration as a mark of gratitude in fulfilment of a vow taken for either the recovery from some ailment or delivery from some danger. In the same way the female camel which had borne ten times, and each time a female, was also let loose.
Wasilah. If the first kid born to a goat was a male, it was slaughtered in the name of the deities; but if it was a female, it was kept by the owners for themselves. If twins were born and one of them was a male and the other a female goat, the male was not slaughtered but rather let loose in the name of the deities. This male goat was called wasilah.
Ham. If the young of camels in the second degree of descent had become worthy of riding they were let loose. Likewise, if ten offspring had been borne by a female camel she was also let loose, and called ham.

Ma jaAAala Allahu min baheeratin wala saibatin wala waseelatin wala hamin walakinna allatheena kafaroo yaftaroona AAala Allahi alkathiba waaktharuhum la yaAAqiloona

English - Sahih International

Allah has not appointed [such innovations as] bahirah or sa'ibah or wasilah or ham. But those who disbelieve invent falsehood about Allah, and most of them do not reason.

আল্লাহ ‘বহিরা’ ‘সায়েবা’ ওসীলা’ এবং ‘হামী’ কে শরীয়তসিদ্ধ করেননি। কিন্তু যারা কাফের, তারা আল্লাহর উপর মিথ্যা অপবাদ আরোপ করে। তাদের অধিকাংশেরই বিবেক বুদ্ধি নেই।
