Surah Ahqaf Ayat 20 meaning in Hindi

और याद करो जिस दिन वे लोग जिन्होंने इनकार किया, आग के सामने पेश किए जाएँगे। (कहा जाएगा), "तुम अपने सांसारिक जीवन में अच्छी रुचिकर चीज़े नष्ट कर बैठे और उनका मज़ा ले चुके। अतः आज तुम्हे अपमानजनक यातना दी जाएगी, क्योंकि तुम धरती में बिना किसी हक़ के घमंड करते रहे और इसलिए कि तुम आज्ञा का उल्लंघन करते रहे।"

Quran Urdu translation

اور جس دن کافر دوزخ کے سامنے کئے جائیں گے (تو کہا جائے گا کہ) تم اپنی دنیا کی زندگی میں لذتیں حاصل کرچکے اور ان سے متمتع ہوچکے سو آج تم کو ذلت کا عذاب ہے، (یہ) اس کی سزا (ہے) کہ تم زمین میں ناحق غرور کیا کرتے تھے۔ اور اس کی بدکرداری کرتے تھے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(46:20) And on the Day when the unbelievers will be exposed to the Fire, they will be told: 'You have exhausted your share of the bounties in the life of the world, and you took your fill of enjoyments. So, degrading chastisement shall be yours on this Day for you waxed arrogant in the earth without justification and acted iniquitously.' *24

And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it meaning

*24) "A torment of disgrace", because of the arrogance that they showed. They thought they were big people and it was below their dignity to believe in the Messenger and join the group of the poor and indigent believers. They were involved in the false pride that if the big people like them would believe in a thing which a few slaves and poor men had believed in, they would incur infamy. That is why AIIah will disgrace them in the Hereafter and will destroy their pride.
