﴿قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تَقْصُصْ رُؤْيَاكَ عَلَىٰ إِخْوَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُوا لَكَ كَيْدًا ۖ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لِلْإِنسَانِ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ﴾
[ يوسف: 5]

याक़ूब ने कहा ऐ बेटा (देखो ख़बरदार) कहीं अपना ख्वाब अपने भाईयों से न दोहराना (वरना) वह लोग तुम्हारे लिए मक्कारी की तदबीर करने लगेगें इसमें तो शक़ ही नहीं कि शैतान आदमी का खुला हुआ दुश्मन है

2. यूसुफ़ अलैहिस्सलाम की दूसरी माँओं से दस भाई थे। और एक सगा भाई था। याक़ूब अलैहिस्सलाम यह जानते थे कि सौतीले भाई, यूसुफ़ से ईर्ष्या करते हैं। इसलिए उनको सावधान कर दिया कि अपना स्वप्न उन्हें न बताएँ।

उसने कहा, "ऐ मेरे बेटे! अपना स्वप्न अपने भाइयों को मत बताना, अन्यथा वे तेरे विरुद्ध कोई चाल चलेंगे। शैतान तो मनुष्य का खुला हुआ शत्रु है

انہوں نے کہا کہ بیٹا اپنے خواب کا ذکر اپنے بھائیوں سے نہ کرنا نہیں تو وہ تمہارے حق میں کوئی فریب کی چال چلیں گے۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ شیطان انسان کا کھلا دشمن ہے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(12:5) In response to this, his father said, "My little son, say nothing of this dream to your brothers, lest they should plot any evil scheme against you. *4 Be on your guard, for Satan is the avowed enemy of man.

He said, "O my son, do not relate your vision to your meaning

*4) As the meanings of the dream were quite obvious, Prophet Jacob had a genuine fear that Joseph's ten step-brothers would become all the more envious of him when they would hear this: So he warned his righteous son not to mention his dream to his brothers, for he knew that those sons of his did not bear the moral character worthy of the sons of a Prophet, and, therefore, they were up to any evil design against him out of mere envy. As regards the dream, the "sun" in it was Prophet Jacob, the "moon" his wife, (Prophet Joseph's step-mother) and the "eleven stars" his eleven brothers.

Qala ya bunayya la taqsus ruyaka AAala ikhwatika fayakeedoo laka kaydan inna alshshaytana lilinsani AAaduwwun mubeenun

He said, "O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers or they will contrive against you a plan. Indeed Satan, to man, is a manifest enemy.

তিনি বললেনঃ বৎস, তোমার ভাইদের সামনে এ স্বপ্ন বর্ণনা করো না। তাহলে তারা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে চক্রান্ত করবে। নিশ্চয় শয়তান মানুষের প্রকাশ্য।

  2. यही (ईनाम) है जिसकी ख़ुदा अपने उन बन्दों को ख़ुशख़बरी देता है जो ईमान लाए
  3. अगर हम इस क़ुरान को किसी पहाड़ पर (भी) नाज़िल करते तो तुम उसको देखते
  4. और अगर तुमने ऐसा न किया तो ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल से लड़ने के लिये
  5. (अपनी) आयतें तफसीलदार बयान करता है और वह वही है जिसने ज़मीन को बिछाया और
  6. अभी ज़करिया हुजरे में खड़े (ये) दुआ कर ही रहे थे कि फ़रिश्तों ने उनको
  7. और (ऐ रसूल) जब हमारी वाज़ेए व रौशन आयतें उनके सामने पढ़ कर सुनाई जाती
  8. अगर तुम मेरे क़त्ल के इरादे से मेरी तरफ़ अपना हाथ बढ़ाओगे (तो ख़ैर बढ़ाओ)
  9. फिर तुमको उसी में दोबारा ले जाएगा और (क़यामत में उसी से) निकाल कर खड़ा
  10. फिर उनके अपने एहद तोड़ डालने और एहकामे ख़ुदा से इन्कार करने और नाहक़ अम्बिया
