Verse 64 from surah An-Nahl

﴿وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا لِتُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ الَّذِي اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ ۙ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴾
[ النحل: 64]

Ayat With Hindi Translation

और हमने तुम पर किताब (क़ुरान) तो इसी लिए नाज़िल की ताकि जिन बातों में ये लोग बाहम झगड़ा किए हैं उनको तुम साफ साफ बयान करो (और यह किताब) ईमानदारों के लिए तो (अज़सरतापा) हिदायत और रहमत है

हमने यह किताब तुमपर इसीलिए अवतरित की है कि जिसमें वे विभेद कर रहे है उसे तुम उनपर स्पष्टा कर दो और यह मार्गदर्शन और दयालुता है उन लोगों के लिए जो ईमान लाएँ

Quran Urdu translation

اور ہم نے جو تم پر کتاب نازل کی ہے تو اس کے لیے جس امر میں ان لوگوں کو اختلاف ہے تم اس کا فیصلہ کردو۔ اور (یہ) مومنوں کے لیے ہدایت اور رحمت ہے

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(16:64) We have sent down this Book to you so that you may reveal to them the reality of the differences in which they are involved. Moreover, this Book has been sent down as guidance for and blessing to those who believe in it. *53

And We have not revealed to you the Book, [O Muhammad], except meaning

*53) That is, "This Book has afforded them an excellent opportunity to resolve their differences which have been caused by the superstitious creeds of their forefathers, and which have divided, them into warring factions. They can then unite on the permanent basis of the Truth presented by the Qur'an, but those foolish people preferring their former condition even after the coming of this blessing, shall meet with disgrace and torment. On the other hand, only those, who believe in this Book, will find the Right Way and blessed with mercy and favours from AIlah" .

Wama anzalna AAalayka alkitaba illa litubayyina lahumu allathee ikhtalafoo feehi wahudan warahmatan liqawmin yuminoona

And We have not revealed to you the Book, [O Muhammad], except for you to make clear to them that wherein they have differed and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

আমি আপনার প্রতি এ জন্যেই গ্রন্থ নাযিল করেছি, যাতে আপনি সরল পথ প্রদর্শনের জন্যে তাদের কে পরিষ্কার বর্ণনা করে দেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছে এবং ঈমানদারকে ক্ষমা করার জন্যে।

  1. फिर अगर इससे भी मुंह फेरें तो (कुछ) परवाह (नहीं) ख़ुदा फ़सादी लोगों को खूब
  2. ताकि लोग नसीहत व इबरत हासिल करें ऐ औलादे आदम (होशियार रहो) कहीं तुम्हें शैतान
  3. तब शैतान ने आदम व हौव्वा को (धोखा देकर) वहाँ से डगमगाया और आख़िर कार
  4. (तू मेरे बेटे को नजात दे) ख़ुदा ने फरमाया ऐ नूह तुम (ये क्या कह
  5. और हमने कितनी बस्तियों को जिनके रहने वाले सरकश थे बरबाद कर दिया और उनके
  6. ये दोनों (मोमिन व काफिर) दो फरीक़ हैं आपस में अपने परवरदिगार के बारे में
  7. और इसमें शक नहीं कि इलियास यक़ीनन पैग़म्बरों में से थे
  8. और कोई बस्ती नहीं है मगर रोज़ क़यामत से पहले हम उसे तबाह व बरबाद
  9. (उस वक्त ख़ुदा ने आदम को) हुक्म दिया कि ऐ आदम तुम इन फ़रिश्तों को
  10. जब इनको (जहन्नुम की) आग में अज़ाब दिया जाएगा
