Verse 8 from surah Al-Isra

﴿عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ ۚ وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا ۘ وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيرًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 8]

(अब भी अगर तुम चैन से रहो तो) उम्मीद है कि तुम्हारा परवरदिगार तुम पर तरस खाए और अगर (कहीं) वही शरारत करोगे तो हम भी फिर पकड़ेंगे और हमने तो काफिरों के लिए जहन्नुम को क़ैद खाना बना ही रखा है

हो सकता है तुम्हारा रब तुमपर दया करे, किन्तु यदि तुम फिर उसी पूर्व नीति की ओर पलटे तो हम भी पलटेंगे, और हमने जहन्नम को इनकार करनेवालों के लिए कारागार बना रखा है

Quran Urdu translation

امید ہے کہ تمہارا پروردگار تم پر رحم کرے، اور اگر تم پھر وہی (حرکتیں) کرو گے تو ہم بھی (وہی پہلا سلوک) کریں گے اور ہم نے جہنم کو کافروں کے لئے قید خانہ بنا رکھا ہے

(17:8) Now again your Lord may show compassion on you; but if you again repeat your former behaviour; We will again visit you with. Our punishment, for We have prepared Hell to serve as a prison-house for the ungrateful people. *10

As a chatter of fact, the whole address is really directed towards the disbelievers of Makkah but, instead of addressing them directly, some important historical events from the history of the children of Israel have been cited in order to serve as admonition for them.

[Then Allah said], "It is expected, [if you repent], that your Lord will have mercy upon you. But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Hell, for the disbelievers, a prison-bed."

  8. अगर खुदा किसी को (अपना) बेटा बनाना चाहता तो अपने मख़लूक़ात में से जिसे चाहता
  9. (ऐ रसूल) क्या तुमने (उलमाए यहूद) के हाल पर नज़र नहीं की जिनको किताब (तौरेत)
  10. जो उनमें से मुनसिफ़ मिजाज़ था कहने लगा क्यों मैंने तुमसे नहीं कहा था कि
