Ó filho meu, observa a oração, recomenda o bem, proíbe o ilícito (31:17)

﴿يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا أَصَابَكَ ۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ﴾
[ لقمان: 17]

Ó filho meu, observa a oração, recomenda o bem, proíbe o ilícito e sofre pacientemente tudo quanto te suceda, porqueisto é firmeza (de proprósito na condução) dos assuntos.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

Ó meu filho! Cumpre a oração e ordena o conveniente e coíbe o reprovável e pacienta, quanto ao que te alcança. Por certo, isso é da firmeza indispensável em todas as resoluções.

17. »Hijo mío!, realiza el salat, ordena el bien, prohíbe el mal y sé paciente ante la adversidad. En verdad, (cumplir con) estos (mandatos)requiere de la mayor determinación.

English - Sahih International

O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination.
