Verse 18 from surah Muhammad

﴿فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً ۖ فَقَدْ جَاءَ أَشْرَاطُهَا ۚ فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمْ إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرَاهُمْ﴾
[ محمد: 18]

Ayat With Hindi Translation

तो क्या ये लोग बस क़यामत ही के मुनतज़िर हैं कि उन पर एक बारगी आ जाए तो उसकी निशानियाँ आ चुकी हैं तो जिस वक्त क़यामत उन (के सर) पर आ पहुँचेगी फिर उन्हें नसीहत कहाँ मुफीद हो सकती है

6. आयत में कहा गया है कि प्रलय के लक्षण आ चुके हैं। और उनमें सब से बड़ा लक्षण आप (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) का आगमन है। जैसा कि नबी (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) का कथन है कि आपने फरमाया : मेरा आगमन तथा प्रलय इन दो उंग्लियों के समान है। (सह़ीह़ बुख़ारी 4936) अर्थात बहुत समीप है। जिसका अर्थ यह है कि जिस प्रकार दो उंग्लियों के बीच कोई तीसरी उंगली नहीं, इसी प्रकार मेरे और प्रलय के बीच कोई नबी नहीं। मेरे आगमन के पश्चात् अब प्रलय ही आएगी।

अब क्या वे लोग बस उस घड़ी की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे है कि वह उनपर अचानक आ जाए? उसके लक्षण तो सामने आ चुके है, जब वह स्वयं भी उनपर आ जाएगी तो फिर उनके लिए होश में आने का अवसर कहाँ शेष रहेगा?

Quran Urdu translation

اب تو یہ لوگ قیامت ہی کو دیکھ رہے ہیں کہ ناگہاں ان پر آ واقع ہو۔ سو اس کی نشانیاں (وقوع میں) آچکی ہیں۔ پھر جب وہ ان پر آ نازل ہوگی اس وقت انہیں نصیحت کہاں (مفید ہوسکے گی؟)

(47:18) Are they waiting, then, for anything else than the Last Hour to suddenly come upon them? *29 Already some of its tokens have come. *30 But when it does actually come upon them, where will any time be left for them to take heed?

Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them meaning

*29) That is, as far as the explanation andclarification of the truth is concerned; it has been explained fully well by argument and reasoning, the miraculous discourses of the Qur'an, the pure character of the Prophet Muhammad (upon whom be Allah's peace) and the revolution in the lives of his Companions. Now, are these people awaiting that Resurrection itself should take place and then only they will believe? ,
*30) Theportents of Resurrection imply those signs which indicate that its approach is near. One such important sign is the advent of God's Last Prophet after whom no other prophet will come till Resurrection. Traditions have been related in Bukhari, Muslim. Tirmidhi and Musnad Ahmad on the authority of Hadrat Anas, Hadrat Sahl bin Sa'd As-Sa'idi and Hadrat Buraidah, saying that the Holy Prophet raised his index finger and the middle finger and said: "My advent and Resurrection are like these two fingers." That is, 'Just as there is no other finger between these two fingers, so no other prophet will be raised between the and Resurrection; after me only Resurrection now will occur."

Fahal yanthuroona illa alssaAAata an tatiyahum baghtatan faqad jaa ashratuha faanna lahum itha jaathum thikrahum

Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then what good to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance?

তারা শুধু এই অপেক্ষাই করছে যে, কেয়ামত অকস্মাৎ তাদের কাছে এসে পড়ুক। বস্তুতঃ কেয়ামতের লক্ষণসমূহ তো এসেই পড়েছে। সুতরাং কেয়ামত এসে পড়লে তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে কেমন করে ?

  4. जिस बेहिश्त का परहेज़गारों से वायदा किया जाता है उसकी सिफत ये है कि उसमें
  5. तो जो बात उनसे कही गई थी उसे शरीरों ने बदलकर दूसरी बात कहनी शुरू
  6. उसी ने आसमान से पानी बरसाया फिर अपने अपने अन्दाज़े से नाले बह निकले फिर
  7. ये वही लोग तो हैं जिन्होने कुफ़्र किया और तुमको मस्जिदुल हराम (में जाने) से
  8. सारे आसमान व ज़मीन की कुन्जियाँ उसके पास हैं जिसके लिए चाहता है रोज़ी को
  9. इसमें किसी तरह का शक नहीं मगर अक्सर लोग (इस पर भी) ईमान नहीं रखते
  10. और हम जो मौजिज़ा उन को दिखाते थे वह दूसरे से बढ़ कर होता था
