  1. Ó humanos, a promessa de Deus é inexorável! Que a vida terrena não vos iluda,
  2. E o estrondo os fulminou, e os reduzimos a destroços (que a torrente carregou). Distância
  3. Que negam o Dia do Juízo,
  4. E se quiséssemos, tê-los-íamos transfigurado em seus lares e não poderiam avançar, nem retroceder.
  5. Não desposareis as idólatras até que elas se convertam, porque uma escrava fiel é preferível
  6. Tal será o castigo dos adversários de Deus: o fogo, que terão por morada eterna,
  7. E fizestes disso o vosso sustento, para que o pudésseis desmentir?
  8. Graduação, indulgência e misericórdia são concedidas por Ele, porque Deus é Indulgente, Misericordiosíssimo.
  9. E há os que te perscrutam; acaso, poderias fazer ver os cegos, uma vez que
  10. Aqueles que praticarem o bem, sejam homens ou mulheres, e forem fiéis, entrarão no Paraíso
