Todos comparecerão ante Deus! E os fracos dirão aos que se ensoberbeceram: (14:21)

﴿وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۚ قَالُوا لَوْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ ۖ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ﴾
[ إبراهيم: 21]

Todos comparecerão ante Deus! E os fracos dirão aos que se ensoberbeceram: Já que fomos vossos seguidores, podereis, porventura, livrar-nos do castigo de Deus? Responder-lhes-ão: Seu Deus nos houvesse encaminhado, o mesmoteríamos feito convosco; quer nos desesperemos, quer sejamos pacientes, não teremos escapatória.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

E expor-se-ão todos, a Allah; então, os fracos dirão aos que se ensoberbeceram: Por certo, éramos vossos seguidores. Pois, podeis valer-nos contra algo do castigo de Allah? Eles dirão: Se Allah nos houvesse guiado, haver-vos-íamos guiado. É-nos igual que nos aflijamos ou pacientemos; não há, para nós, fugida alguma.

Spanish - Noor International

21. Y todas las criaturas comparecerán ante Al-lah (para ser juzgados el Día de la Resurrección). Entonces, los débiles (que seguían a sus líderes) dirán a los arrogantes (que se rebelaron contra la obediencia a Al-lah y a quienes los débiles obedecían): «Ciertamente, os seguíamos a vosotros, ¿podréis sernos de ayuda frente al castigo de Al-lah?». Los arrogantes contestarán: «Si Al-lah nos hubiera guiado, os habríamos guiado también a vosotros[422]. No importa si desesperamos o somos pacientes, pues no tenemos escapatoria».

[422] Incluso el Día de la Resurrección seguirán mostrando arrogancia al no reconocer que merecían el castigo y achacar su destino al decreto de Al-lah, eludiendo, así, cualquier responsabilidad de su parte.

English - Sahih International

And they will come out [for judgement] before Allah all together, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant, "Indeed, we were your followers, so can you avail us anything against the punishment of Allah?" They will say, "If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you. It is all the same for us whether we show intolerance or are patient: there is for us no place of escape."
