Disse: Ó Senhor meu, como poderei ter um filho, se a velhice (3:40)

﴿قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ ۖ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ اللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ﴾
[ آل عمران: 40]

Disse: Ó Senhor meu, como poderei ter um filho, se a velhice me alcançou a minha mulher é estéril? Disse-lhe (o anjo): Assim será. Deus faz o que Lhe apraz.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

Ele disse: Senhor meu! Como hei de ter um filho, enquanto, com efeito, a velhice me atingiu e minha mulher é estéril? Ele disse: Assim é! Allah faz o que quer.

40. Zacarías dijo: «Señor!, ¿cómo podré tener un hijo cuando he alcanzado la vejez y mi mujer es estéril?». Dijo (Al-lah a través del ángel): «Así será, pues Al-lah hace lo que quiere».

English - Sahih International

He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when I have reached old age and my wife is barren?" The angel said, "Such is Allah; He does what He wills."
