Verse 167 from surah Al-Baqarah

﴿وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوا لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُوا مِنَّا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ﴾
[ البقرة: 167]

और पैरव कहने लगेंगे कि अगर हमें कहीं फिर (दुनिया में) पलटना मिले तो हम भी उन से इसी तरह अलग हो जायेंगे जिस तरह एैन वक्त पर ये लोग हम से अलग हो गए यूँ ही ख़ुदा उन के आमाल को दिखाएगा जो उन्हें (सर तापा पास ही) पास दिखाई देंगें और फिर भला कब वह दोज़ख़ से निकल सकतें हैं

वे लोग जो उनके पीछे चले थे कहेंगे, "काश! हमें एक बार (फिर संसार में लौटना होता तो जिस तरह आज ये हमसे विरक्त हो रहे हैं, हम भी इनसे विरक्त हो जाते।" इस प्रकार अल्लाह उनके लिए संताप बनाकर उन्हें कर्म दिखाएगा और वे आग (जहन्नम) से निकल न सकेंगे

Quran Urdu translation

(یہ حال دیکھ کر) پیروی کرنے والے (حسرت سے) کہیں گے کہ اے کاش ہمیں پھر دنیا میں جانا نصیب ہو تاکہ جس طرح یہ ہم سے بیزار ہو رہے ہیں اسی طرح ہم بھی ان سے بیزار ہوں۔ اسی طرح خدا ان کے اعمال انہیں حسرت بنا کر دکھائے گااور وہ دوزخ سے نکل نہیں سکیں گے

(2:167) Then those who followed them will say, "Would that we were given another chance to return to the world: then we will disown them just as they have disowned us today.' *165 Thus will Allah bring before them the deeds they did in the world in such a manner as to make them wring their hands in regret but they shall be unable to come out of the Fire.

*165). Here particular reference is made to the dismal end of those so-called religious leaders who mislead people, and of their gullible followers who fall easy prey to their deception. This has been done in order to warn the Muslims to beware of the errors which misled former nations, and to impress upon them the need to develop the capacity to distinguish between true and spurious leaders so as to avoid being led by the latter.

Waqala allatheena ittabaAAoo law anna lana karratan fanatabarraa minhum kama tabarraoo minna kathalika yureehimu Allahu aAAmalahum hasaratin AAalayhim wama hum bikharijeena mina alnnari

Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.

এবং অনুসারীরা বলবে, কতইনা ভাল হত, যদি আমাদিগকে পৃথিবীতে ফিরে যাবার সুযোগ দেয়া হত। তাহলে আমরাও তাদের প্রতি তেমনি অসন্তুষ্ট হয়ে যেতাম, যেমন তারা অসন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে আমাদের প্রতি। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে দেখাবেন তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদেরকে অনুতপ্ত করার জন্যে। অথচ, তারা কস্মিনকালেও আগুন থেকে বের হতে পারবে না।

  2. और न ज़िन्दे (मोमिनीन) और न मुर्दें (क़ाफिर) बराबर हो सकते हैं और खुदा जिसे
  3. उसने तुम्हारे लिए दीन का वही रास्ता मुक़र्रर किया जिस (पर चलने का) नूह को
  4. (तुम किसी की मदद के मोहताज नहीं) बल्कि ख़ुदा तुम्हारा सरपरस्त है और वह सब
  5. (ऐ रसूल इनसे) पूछो तो कि क्या तुम ख़ुदा को अपनी दीदारी जताते हो और
  6. मगर उसकी इबादत करता हूँ, जिसने मुझे पैदा किया तो वही बहुत जल्द मेरी हिदायत
  7. और यहूदियों (ने ईसा से) मक्कारी की और ख़ुदा ने उसके दफ़ईया की तदबीर की
  8. और जिन लोगों ने (कुफ्फ़ार के ज़ुल्म पर ज़ुल्म सहने के बाद ख़ुदा की खुशी
  9. उस दिन (होगा)
  10. और उसे (अपनी ऑंखों से) देख रहे हैं और (ये वक्त था) जब ख़ुदा तुमसे
