Verse 18 from surah Al-Jaathiyah

﴿ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[ الجاثية: 18]

फिर (ऐ रसूल) हमने तुमको दीन के खुले रास्ते पर क़ायम किया है तो इसी (रास्ते) पर चले जाओ और नादानों की ख्वाहिशो की पैरवी न करो

फिर हमने तुम्हें इस मामलें में एक खुले मार्ग (शरीअत) पर कर दिया। अतः तुम उसी पर चलो और उन लोगों की इच्छाओं का अनुपालन न करना जो जानते नहीं

Quran Urdu translation

پھر ہم نے تم کو دین کے کھلے رستے پر (قائم) کر دیا تو اسی (رستے) پر چلے چلو اور نادانوں کی خواہشوں کے پیچھے نہ چلنا

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(45:18) And then We set you, (O Prophet), on a clear high road in religious matters. *23 So follow that and do not follow the desires of those who do not know.

Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the meaning

*23) It means: "The mission that had been entrusted to the children of Israel before you has now been entrusted to you. They, in spite of receiving knowledge, created such differences in religion out of selfish motives and stirred up such divisions among themselves that they became disqualified to call the people to God's way. Now you have been set upon the clear highway of Religion so that you may perform the service which the children of Israel have failed to perform and become disqualified to perform it. Thumma jaAAalnaka AAala shareeAAatin mina alamri faittabiAAha wala tattabiAA ahwaa allatheena la yaAAlamoona

Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know.

  6. बेशक नेको कार (बेहिश्त की) नेअमतों में होंगे
  7. और (ऐ रसूल) हमने इस क़ुरान को बिल्कुल ठीक नाज़िल किया और बिल्कुल ठीक नाज़िल
  8. ताकि तुम परहेज़गार बनो फिर उसके बाद तुम (अपने एहदो पैमान से) फिर गए पस
  9. तो जब उनके पास हमारे ऑंखें खोल देने वाले मैजिज़े आए तो कहने लगे ये
  10. और हम तुम लोगों को ज़रूर आज़माएँगे ताकि तुममें जो लोग जेहाद करने वाले और
