E eles, com os seus exércitos, ensoberbeceram-se, e pensaram que jamais retornariam (28:39)

﴿وَاسْتَكْبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا يُرْجَعُونَ﴾
[ القصص: 39]

E eles, com os seus exércitos, ensoberbeceram-se, e pensaram que jamais retornariam a Nós!

E ele se ensoberbeceu sem razão, na terra, ele e seu exército, e pensaram que a Nós não seriam retornados.

39. Y él y su ejército fueron arrogantes en la tierra sin derecho alguno y pensaron que no retornarían a Nos (para ser juzgados el Día de la Resurrección).

And he was arrogant, he and his soldiers, in the land, without right, and they thought that they would not be returned to Us.
