Y si Allah precipitara el mal a los hombres como ellos quieren (10:11)

﴿۞ وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ الشَّرَّ اسْتِعْجَالَهُم بِالْخَيْرِ لَقُضِيَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْ ۖ فَنَذَرُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ﴾
[ يونس: 11]

Y si Allah precipitara el mal a los hombres como ellos quieren precipitar el bien, el plazo se les habría cumplido; sin embargo, a los que no esperan que han de encontrarse con Nosotros, los dejamos errantes en su extravío.

Spanish Translation - Garcia

Si Dios precipitara a la gente el castigo de la misma forma en que la gente se precipita a buscar los bienes materiales, ya les habría llegado su hora. Pero abandoné, ciegos en su extravío, a quienes no esperan comparecer ante Mí.

11. Y si Al-lah se apresurara a responder a los hombres cuando Le suplican algo malo[339] del mismo modo que se apresura a responderles cuando Le suplican algo bueno, ya habrían sido castigados con su destrucción; mas dejamos que quienes no esperan Nuestro encuentro persistan en sus transgresiones, extraviados y desorientados.

[339] Como cuando el hombre, debido a su enfado, le pide a Al-lah que no bendiga a su propio hijo, etc.

And if Allah was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly
