Y cuando Musa vino a Nuestra cita y su Señor le habló, (7:143)

﴿وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَىٰ لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ لَن تَرَانِي وَلَٰكِنِ انظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي ۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًا ۚ فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 143]

Y cuando Musa vino a Nuestra cita y su Señor le habló, dijo: Señor mío! Muéstrate ante mí para que pueda verte; dijo: No Me verás, pero mira el monte y si permenece en su sitio entonces Me verás.Y cuando su Señor se manifestó al monte lo pulverizó y Musa cayó fulminado. Al volver en sí, dijo: Gloria a Ti! A Ti me vuelvo y soy el primero de los creyentes.

Cuando Moisés acudió al encuentro y su Señor le habló, [Moisés] le pidió: "Muéstrate para que pueda verte". Dijo [Dios]: "No podrías verme. Pero observa la montaña, si permanece firme en su lugar [después de mostrarme a ella], entonces tú también podrás verme". Y cuando su Señor se mostró a la montaña, ésta se convirtió en polvo y Moisés cayó inconsciente. Cuando volvió en sí exclamó: "¡Glorificado seas! Me arrepiento y soy el primero en creer en Ti".

143. Y cuando Moisés acudió al encuentro con su Señor, y Este le habló, dijo:«Señor, muéstrate para que pueda verte!». (Al-lah) respondió: «No Me verás, mas mira hacia la montaña; si esta permanece en su sitio, podrás verme». Pero cuando su Señor se mostró a la montaña, esta quedó pulverizada y Moisés cayó inconsciente. Cuando volvió en sí, exclamó: «Gloria a Ti! Ante Ti me arrepiento y soy el primero en creer!».

And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You." [Allah] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, "Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers."
