﴿۞ وَقَالَ ارْكَبُوا فِيهَا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ مَجْرَاهَا وَمُرْسَاهَا ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ﴾
[ هود: 41]

Sahih International - صحيح انترناشونال

And [Noah] said, "Embark therein; in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

Surah Hud Full

عبد الله يوسف علي

So he said: "Embark ye on the Ark, In the name of Allah, whether it move or be at rest! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!"

تقي الدين الهلالي

And he [Nuh (Noah)] said: "Embark therein, in the Name of Allah will be its moving course and its resting anchorage. Surely, my Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 12, Page 43)

*45). Trust in God is the quintessential characteristic of the believer. True, like any other person, the believer also has recourse to worldly measures. It is, in fact, necessary to use them on account of the laws of nature under which all human beings live and operate. One thing, however, differentiates a believer from a man of the world. A believer, while having recourse to worldly measures, places his reliance on God rather than on the measures he adopts. He is well aware that none of his measures can be of any avail unless they coincide with God's favour and mercy.
