﴿إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَالٍ وَعُيُونٍ﴾
[ المرسلات: 41]

Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

Surah Al-Mursalat Full

عبد الله يوسف علي


As to the Righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water).

تقي الدين الهلالي


Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) shall be amidst shades and springs.

صفي الرحمن المباركفوري


Verily, those who had Taqwa, shall be amidst shades and springs.

*22) As this world has been used here in contrast to the "deniers'; the righteous here implies the people who refrained from denying the Hereafter and accepted it and passed their life in the world with the belief that in 'the Hereafter they would have to render an account of their word and deed and their conduct and character.
