फिर जब वह उस तकलीफ़ को तुमसे टाल देता है, तो क्या देखते है कि तुममें से कुछ लोग अपने रब के साथ साझीदार ठहराने लगते है,

پھر جب وہ تم سے تکلیف کو دور کردیتا ہے تو کچھ لوگ تم میں سے خدا کے ساتھ شریک کرنے لگتے ہیں

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(16:54) But no sooner does He relieve you of your distress than some of you begin to associate others with Him (in gratitude *47 for this favour),

Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party meaning

*47) That is, "At the time of showing gratitude to Allah for removing his affliction, he begins to make offerings also to some god, goddess or saint to show that Allah's kindness to him was due to the intercession of his patron, for he imagines that otherwise AIlah would not have removed his distress.
