Acaso estabais allí, presentes, cuando le vino la muerte a Yaqub? Cuando (2:133)

﴿أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن بَعْدِي قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ﴾
[ البقرة: 133]

Acaso estabais allí, presentes, cuando le vino la muerte a Yaqub? Cuando dijo a sus hijos: Qué adoraréis cuando yo ya no esté? Dijeron: Adoraremos a tu Dios y al Dios de tus padres: Ibrahim, Ismail e Ishaq, que es un Dios Único; y a Él estaremos sometidos.

¿Acaso saben qué le preguntó Jacob a sus hijos cuando le llegó la muerte?: "¿Qué adorarán después de mí [muerte]?" Dijeron: "Adoraremos lo que adoraban tú y tus ancestros, Abraham, Ismael e Isaac: la Única divinidad, y a Él entregamos nuestra voluntad".

133. O acaso estabais presentes (vosotros, judíos) cuando la muerte le llegó a Jacob y dijo a sus hijos: «¿A quién adoraréis tras mi muerte?». Dijeron: «Adoraremos a tu Dios, el Dios de tus ancestros Abraham, Ismael e Isaac, (adoraremos) al Dios Único; y nosotros nos sometemos a Él».

Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."
