Respondeu-lhes: Lançai vós! E quando lançaram (seus cajados), fascinaram os olhos das (7:116)

﴿قَالَ أَلْقُوا ۖ فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْا سَحَرُوا أَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَاءُوا بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ﴾
[ الأعراف: 116]

Respondeu-lhes: Lançai vós! E quando lançaram (seus cajados), fascinaram os olhos das pessoas, espantando-as, ederam provas de uma magia extraordinária.

Moisés disse: Lançai. Então, quando lançaram enfeitiçaram os olhos dos homens e assombraram-nos. E chegaram com magnífica magia.

116. (Moisés) respondió: «Arrojadlo vosotros primero». Y cuando lo hicieron, hechizaron los ojos de los presentes y los aterrorizaron mostrando una gran magia.

He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic.
