Então, punimo-los, e os afogamos no mar por haverem desmentido e negligenciado (7:136)

﴿فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 136]

Então, punimo-los, e os afogamos no mar por haverem desmentido e negligenciado os Nossos versículos.

Então, vingamo-Nos deles e afogamo-los na onda, porque desmentiram Nossos sinais e a eles estiveram desatentos.

136. Entonces, los castigamos (en consecuencia) y los ahogamos en el mar por haber negado Nuestros milagros y haberse desentendido de ellos.

So We took retribution from them, and We drowned them in the sea because they denied Our signs and were heedless of them.
