Se os iníquos possuíssem tudo quanto existe na terra e outro tanto (39:47)

﴿وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهِ مِن سُوءِ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ وَبَدَا لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَحْتَسِبُونَ﴾
[ الزمر: 47]

Se os iníquos possuíssem tudo quanto existe na terra e outro tanto mais, dá-lo-iam, para se eximirem do horríveltormento no Dia da Ressurreição. (Nesse dia) aparecer-lhes-á, da parte de Deus, o que jamais esperavam.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

E, se os injustos tivessem tudo o que há na terra e mais outro tanto, com isso, eles resgatar-se-iam do pior castigo, no Dia da Ressurreição. E mostrar-se-lhes-á, da parte de Allah, o que nunca haviam suposto.

Spanish - Noor International

47. Y si los injustos (que rechazan la verdad) poseyeran todos los bienes y tesoros existentes en la tierra, e incluso el doble, lo ofrecerían, sin duda alguna, para librarse del castigo el Día de la Resurrección (mas no les serían aceptados). Y aparecerá ante ellos, procedente de Al-lah, (un castigo) que nunca imaginaron.

English - Sahih International

And if those who did wrong had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will appear to them from Allah that which they had not taken into account.
