A los que se lleven los ángeles habiendo sido injustos consigo mismos (4:97)

﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا فِيمَ كُنتُمْ ۖ قَالُوا كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ قَالُوا أَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُوا فِيهَا ۚ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا﴾
[ النساء: 97]

A los que se lleven los ángeles habiendo sido injustos consigo mismos les dirán: En qué se os fue la vida?Responderán: Estábamos oprimidos en la tierra.Les dirán: Acaso no era la tierra de Allah lo suficientemente extensa como para emigrar? Esos tendrán por morada Yahannam. Qué mal fin!

Aquellos que mueran siendo injustos consigo mismos [cometiendo pecados influenciados por la sociedad pagana], los ángeles al tomar sus almas les preguntaran: "¿Qué les pasó?" Responderán: "Nos sentíamos débiles y oprimidos [por los incrédulos]". Les dirán: "¿Acaso la tierra de Dios no era suficientemente vasta como para que emigraran [a otra sociedad]?" Su morada será el Infierno. ¡Qué mal fin!

97. Cuando los ángeles tomen las almas de quienes hayan sido injustos consigo mismos (por no haber emigrado con los creyentes y haber permanecido con quienes rechazaban la verdad), les dirán: «¿Qué os sucedió? (¿Por qué no apoyasteis la causa de Al-lah?)». Responderán: «Estábamos oprimidos en la tierra (y no podíamos practicar la religión)». (Los ángeles) les dirán: «¿No era la tierra de Al-lah lo suficientemente vasta como para que pudierais emigrar?». Mas morarán en el infierno; y qué pésimo destino!,

English - Sahih International

Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination.
