Y cuando se les dice: Seguid lo que Allah ha hecho descender!Dicen: (31:21)

﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا ۚ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ﴾
[ لقمان: 21]

Y cuando se les dice: Seguid lo que Allah ha hecho descender!Dicen: Seguimos más bien aquello que encontramos haciendo a nuestros padres.Y si el Shaytán los estuviera llamando al castigo del Sair?

[A estos] cuando se les dice: "Sigan lo que Dios ha revelado", responden: "Nosotros seguimos la tradición de nuestros padres". ¿[La seguirían] Incluso si el demonio los arrastrara al castigo del Infierno?

21. Y si se les dice que sigan lo que Al-lah les ha revelado, responden: «Mejor seguimos lo que nuestros antepasados adoraban». ¿Cómo? ¿(Van a seguir lo que hacían) aun cuando el Demonio quiere arrastrarlos (de esta manera) al castigo del fuego?

English - Sahih International

And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze?
