E nunca lhes mostramos prodígio algum que não fosse mais surpreendente do (43:48)

﴿وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا ۖ وَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ﴾
[ الزخرف: 48]

E nunca lhes mostramos prodígio algum que não fosse mais surpreendente do que o anterior. Mas surpreendemo-los como castigo, para que se voltassem contritos.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

E não os fizemos ver sinal algum, sem que fosse maior que seu precedente. E apanhamo-los com o castigo, para retornarem.

Spanish - Noor International

48. Y cada prueba que les mostrábamos era mayor que la anterior. Y los castigamos (por negarlas, enviándoles plagas) para ver si (así) se arrepentían (de su incredulidad).

English - Sahih International

And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith].
