Y cuando éste alcanzó la edad de acompañarle en sus tareas, le (37:102)

﴿فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ﴾
[ الصافات: 102]

Y cuando éste alcanzó la edad de acompañarle en sus tareas, le dijo: Hijo mío! He visto en sueños que te sacrificaba, considera tu parecer. Dijo: Padre! Haz lo que se te ordena y si Allah quiere, encontrarás en mí a uno de los pacientes.

Cuando [Ismael] alcanzó la pubertad, [Abraham] le dijo: "¡Oh, hijito mío! He visto en sueños que te sacrificaba; dime, qué opinas". Le dijo: "¡Oh, padre mío! Haz lo que te ha sido ordenado; encontrarás, si Dios quiere, que seré de los pacientes".

102. Y cuando (Ismael) hubo crecido y empezó a acompañar a su padre, este le dijo: «Hijo mío!, he visto en un sueño[851] que te degollaba; ¿qué opinas sobre ello?». (Ismael) le dijo: «Padre mío!, haz lo que se te ordena. Si Al-lah quiere, me hallarás de los pacientes».

[851] Los sueños de los profetas son revelaciones de Al-lah que deben cumplirse.

English - Sahih International

And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast."
