Y cuando se les dice: Creed como han creído los hombres.Dicen: Es (2:13)

﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُوا كَمَا آمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَا آمَنَ السُّفَهَاءُ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَهَاءُ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[ البقرة: 13]

Y cuando se les dice: Creed como han creído los hombres.Dicen: Es que vamos a creer como los necios?No son ellos los necios sin saberlo?

Cuando se les dice: "¡Crean como ha creído la gente!" Responden: "¿Es que vamos a creer como lo hacen los tontos?" ¿Acaso no son ellos los tontos? [Sí,] pero no lo saben.

13. Y si se les dice: «Creed como creen los demás», dicen: «¿Es que vamos a creer como creen los necios?». En realidad, son ellos los necios; mas no lo saben.

And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.
