Los que hubo antes de ellos negaron la verdad y ellos no (34:45)

﴿وَكَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا بَلَغُوا مِعْشَارَ مَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوا رُسُلِي ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ﴾
[ سبأ: 45]

Los que hubo antes de ellos negaron la verdad y ellos no han llegado a tener ni la décima parte de lo que les dimos a aquéllos. Desmintieron a Mis mensajeros, y cómo fue Mi reprobación.

Ya desmintieron sus antecesores a Mis Mensajeros, y estos incrédulos [deberían recapacitar, pues] no recibieron ni una décima parte de lo que les concedí a sus antecesores. ¡Qué terrible fue el castigo!

45. Y (las comunidades) que los precedieron también negaron a sus profetas. Y quienes te desmienten (oh, Muhammad!) no han recibido ni una décima parte de lo que concedimos a aquellas comunidades; y qué terrible fue el castigo que recibieron!

English - Sahih International

And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But the former peoples denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach.
