O dicen: Lo ha inventado. Di: Si lo hubiera inventado, nada podríais (46:8)

﴿أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۖ قُلْ إِنِ افْتَرَيْتُهُ فَلَا تَمْلِكُونَ لِي مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۖ كَفَىٰ بِهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ﴾
[ الأحقاف: 8]

O dicen: Lo ha inventado. Di: Si lo hubiera inventado, nada podríais hacer por mí ante Allah. Él sabe mejor lo que difundís sobre ello, Él basta como Testigo entre vosotros y yo; y Él es el Perdonador, el Compasivo.

Spanish Translation - Garcia

O dicen: "Él [Mujámmad] lo inventó". Diles [¡oh, Mujámmad!]: "Si lo hubiese inventado, ustedes no podrían defenderme del castigo de Dios. Él bien sabe lo que dicen [sobre el Corán]. Dios basta como testigo entre nosotros. Él es el Absolvedor, el Misericordioso".

8. ¿O acaso dicen que se lo ha inventado (Muhammad)? Diles (oh, Muhammad!): «Si me lo hubiera inventado, no podríais ayudarme en nada contra (el castigo de) Al-lah. Él sabe bien lo que decís (con respecto al Corán). Él basta como testigo entre vosotros y yo; y Él es el Indulgente, el Misericordioso».

Or do they say, "He has invented it?" Say, "If I have invented it, you will not possess for me [the power of protection] from Allah at all. He is most knowing of that in which you are involved. Sufficient is He as Witness between me and you, and He is the Forgiving the Merciful."
