- Muḥalliqīn (محلقين): Those who shave their heads completely, a sign of completing the rites of Umrah or Hajj.

Explanation of the Verse:
Allah, the Most High, confirms with absolute certainty that He fulfilled the true vision He showed His Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet had seen in a dream that he and his companions would enter the Sacred Mosque in Mecca in a state of complete security, with their heads shaved or their hair shortened, free from any fear of their enemies. This vision was not a mere fantasy; it was a divine promise, and Allah’s promise is always true.
However, Allah, in His infinite wisdom, knew what His servants did not know. He saw the greater good and the hidden benefits in delaying the fulfillment of this vision at that particular time. The believers were eager to enter Mecca, but Allah had a different plan — a plan filled with mercy and strategic victory. So, instead of the immediate entry into Mecca, Allah granted them a "near victory" — the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. This treaty was not a setback; it was a profound triumph that opened the doors for the spread of Islam, leading to the conquest of Khaybar and, eventually, the peaceful and glorious entry into Mecca.
This verse teaches us a beautiful lesson: Allah’s timing is perfect. What may seem like a delay or a change of plans is, in reality, a divine arrangement for something even better. The believers had to trust Allah’s wisdom, and indeed, they were rewarded with victories beyond their imagination.
A Da'wah Reflection:
Dear believer, when you face a delay in your prayers being answered or a dream that seems unfulfilled, remember this verse. Allah’s promise is true, but His wisdom is greater than our understanding. He may hold back what you desire now to give you something more precious later — a victory for your soul, a protection from harm, or a blessing you never expected. Trust Him completely, for He is the Best of Planners. Just as the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) found peace and triumph in the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, you too will find that what Allah chooses for you is always the best. So, hold firm to your faith, remain patient, and rejoice in the certainty that Allah’s help is near — even when you cannot see it yet.
