E intentaram desonrar os seus hóspedes; então, cegamos-lhes os olhos, dizendo: Sofrei, (54:37)

﴿وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِ فَطَمَسْنَا أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ﴾
[ القمر: 37]

E intentaram desonrar os seus hóspedes; então, cegamos-lhes os olhos, dizendo: Sofrei, pois, o Meu castigo e a Minhaadmoestação!

E, com efeito, tentaram seduzi-lo, no tocante a seus hóspedes; então, apagamo-lhes os olhos. Dissemos: Experimentai, pois, Meu castigo e Minhas admoestações.

37. Y pretendieron seducir a sus huéspedes (los ángeles bajo apariencia humana que fueron enviados para castigarlos), mas les cegamos los ojos y les dijimos: «Sufrid Mi castigo y Mis amenazas».

And they had demanded from him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "Taste My punishment and warning."
