Se Deus tivesse reconhecido neles alguma virtude, tê-los-ia feito ouvir; se Ele (8:23)

﴿وَلَوْ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا لَّأَسْمَعَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ أَسْمَعَهُمْ لَتَوَلَّوا وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ﴾
[ الأنفال: 23]

Se Deus tivesse reconhecido neles alguma virtude, tê-los-ia feito ouvir; se Ele os tivesse feito ouvir, teriam renegadodesdenhosamente, mesmo assim.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

E, se Allah soubesse de algum bem neles, havê-los-ia feito ouvir. E, se Ele os houvesse feito ouvir, voltariam as costas, dando de ombros.

23. Si Al-lah hubiese reconocido en ellos algún bien, habría hecho que escucharan; mas, aunque hubiesen escuchado, habrían rechazado la verdad dándole la espalda con aversión.

English - Sahih International

Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, they would [still] have turned away, while they were refusing.
