Si les hubieran entrado por los flancos y a continuación les hubieran (33:14)

﴿وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَقْطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا الْفِتْنَةَ لَآتَوْهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُوا بِهَا إِلَّا يَسِيرًا﴾
[ الأحزاب: 14]

Si les hubieran entrado por los flancos y a continuación les hubieran pedido que renegaran de su creencia, lo habrían hecho sin demasiado reparo.

Si [los incrédulos] hubieran entrado [a Medina] por sus flancos y les hubieran pedido colaboración [contra los creyentes], lo habrían aceptado fácilmente.

14. Y si (el enemigo) hubiese penetrado en la ciudad por todas partes y les hubiese pedido que renegaran de su fe, lo habrían hecho sin apenas dudar.

And if they had been entered upon from all its [surrounding] regions and fitnah had been demanded of them, they would have done it and not hesitated over it except briefly.
