Entre vosotros hay quien se queda atrás, y si os ocurre algún (4:72)

﴿وَإِنَّ مِنكُمْ لَمَن لَّيُبَطِّئَنَّ فَإِنْ أَصَابَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالَ قَدْ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ إِذْ لَمْ أَكُن مَّعَهُمْ شَهِيدًا﴾
[ النساء: 72]

Entre vosotros hay quien se queda atrás, y si os ocurre algún percance dice: Allah me ha agraciado por no haber estado allí con ellos.

Habrá entre ustedes quien se rezague, y si sufren un revés dirá: "Dios me ha concedido la gracia de no estar con ellos".

72. Y hay quien se queda rezagado de entre vosotros (para no luchar). Si os sobreviene una desgracia, dice: «Al-lah me ha agraciado al hacer que no estuviera presente entre ellos»;

And indeed, there is among you he who lingers behind; and if disaster strikes you, he says, "Allah has favored me in that I was not present with them."
