أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ ۝١
📖 Translation Verse 1
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?
فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ ۝٢
📖 Translation Verse 2
For that is the one who drives away the orphan
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ۝٣
📖 Translation Verse 3
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ۝٤
📖 Translation Verse 4
So woe to those who pray
الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ۝٥
📖 Translation Verse 5
[But] who are heedless of their prayer -
الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ ۝٦
📖 Translation Verse 6
Those who make show [of their deeds]
وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ ۝٧
📖 Translation Verse 7
And withhold [simple] assistance.
