No tendrán más excusa que decir: Por Allah, nuestro Señor, que no (6:23)

﴿ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُن فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا وَاللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ﴾
[ الأنعام: 23]

No tendrán más excusa que decir: Por Allah, nuestro Señor, que no éramos asociadores.

Entonces en su confusión dirán: "¡Juramos por Dios, nuestro Señor, que no Le atribuíamos divinidad a nada junto con Él!"

23. Entonces no tendrán excusa alguna y solo se les ocurrirá decir (para librarse del castigo): «Juramos por Al-lah, nuestro Señor, que no adorábamos a nadie fuera de Él».

Then there will be no [excuse upon] examination except they will say, "By Allah, our Lord, we were not those who associated."
