﴿فَأَرَدْنَا أَن يُبْدِلَهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُ زَكَاةً وَأَقْرَبَ رُحْمًا﴾
[ الكهف: 81]

Quisemos que o seu Senhor os agraciasse, em troca, com outro puro e mais afetuoso.

Então, desejamos que seu Senhor lhes substituísse o filho por outro melhor que ele, em pureza, e mais próximo, em blandícia.

So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.
