﴿وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ﴾
[ الأنفال: 33]

Pero Allah no los castigaría mientras tú estuvieras entre ellos ni tampoco tendría por qué castigarlos mientras pidieran perdón.

Pero Dios nunca los castigaría estando tú [¡oh, Mujámmad!] entre ellos, ni tampoco mientras haya quienes Le pidan perdón.

33. Mas Al-lah no iba a castigarlos estando tú entre ellos, ni iba a castigarlos habiendo entre ellos gente (creyente y débil sin la capacidad para emigrar) que pide perdón.

But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness.
