Word Meanings:

He will provide for him (sustenance and provision).
From where he does not expect or anticipate.
Places his trust and reliance (upon Allah).
Sufficient for him (Allah will take care of all his affairs).
Fully accomplishing His decree; nothing can prevent His will.
A determined measure, an appointed limit, and a precise decree.

Explanation of the Verse:

This verse comes as a continuation of Allah’s guidance to those who fear Him and remain conscious of Him in their affairs—especially in matters of marriage, divorce, and family relations. After commanding the believers to act righteously and to uphold justice even in difficult situations, Allah opens the door of hope and reassurance.

Allah promises that whoever is mindful of Him and follows His commands, He will grant them a way out of every hardship and provide for them from where they least expect. This is not merely a promise of material sustenance; it encompasses relief from anxiety, solutions to seemingly impossible problems, and blessings that arrive through unforeseen channels. The believer who places their full trust in Allah—relying on Him wholeheartedly while taking the necessary means—will find that Allah is more than sufficient for them. He will take charge of their concerns, big and small, and will never abandon them.

The verse then affirms a profound truth: Allah fully accomplishes His decree. Nothing in the heavens or the earth can frustrate His will, and no matter how difficult a situation may appear, His command prevails. Finally, Allah reminds us that He has set a precise measure for everything—every trial has a limit, every hardship has an end, and every affair has an appointed time. Just as difficulty has its term, so too does relief; neither lasts forever. This instills patience in the believer and strengthens their certainty that Allah’s wisdom governs all things.

A Da‘wah Reflection:

Dear reader, reflect on the beauty of this promise! The One who created the heavens and the earth, who controls the hearts of all beings and the treasures of provision, has pledged to take care of you if you simply place your trust in Him. How often do we worry about our future, our sustenance, our children, and our affairs—while the One who owns everything assures us that He is sufficient?

This verse invites you to a life of peace and certainty. It tells you that your provision is not tied to the means you see, but to the will of the One who provides. So turn to Allah with a sincere heart, obey His commands, and rely on Him. You will find doors opening from directions you never imagined, and you will taste a tranquility that no amount of worldly wealth can buy. This is the promise of Allah—and who is more truthful than Allah in His word? Embrace this trust, and let it transform your worries into serenity, and your fear into hope.

📜 Verse 1-5 — At-Talaq

O Prophet, when you [Muslims] divorce women, divorce them for [the commencement of] their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period, and fear Allah, your Lord. Do not turn them out of their [husbands'] houses, nor should they [themselves] leave [during that period] unless they are committing a clear immorality. And those are the limits [set by] Allah. And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah has certainly wronged himself. You know not; perhaps Allah will bring about after that a [different] matter.
And when they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or part with them according to acceptable terms. And bring to witness two just men from among you and establish the testimony for [the acceptance of] Allah. That is instructed to whoever should believe in Allah and the Last day. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out
And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.
And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease.
That is the command of Allah, which He has sent down to you; and whoever fears Allah - He will remove for him his misdeeds and make great for him his reward.
