Surah Yasin — Verse 3

Tafsir (Explanation):

In this noble verse, Allah the Almighty swears by the Qur'an—the Book of wisdom and sound judgment, filled with divine commands, profound wisdoms, and decisive proofs—that you, O Muhammad, are truly one of the Messengers sent by Allah to His servants. This divine oath comes as a direct and powerful response to the disbelievers who denied the Prophet's message and claimed: "You are not a Messenger" (Surah Ar-Ra'd, 43). Allah refutes their falsehood with an emphatic affirmation, using the particle of emphasis (inna) and the preposition (min) to confirm beyond any doubt that Muhammad ﷺ is indeed among the chosen Messengers of Allah.
