  • Munthireen (مُنذِرِينَ): Those who warn against severe punishment for disbelief and disobedience.
  • Aamana (آمَنَ): Believed sincerely in Allah, His messengers, and what they brought.

  • Huzn (حَزَنٌ): Grief or sorrow over what has been missed or lost.

Explanation of the Verse:

In this profound verse, Allah clarifies the universal purpose of sending His messengers throughout history: they were not sent to coerce, dominate, or spread chaos, but rather to deliver two essential messages—glad tidings for those who believe and do good, and warnings for those who persist in disbelief and wrongdoing. The messengers came as bearers of hope and caution, inviting humanity to a path of peace, righteousness, and eternal success.

When Allah says He sends messengers as *mubashshireen*, He is telling us that the core of the prophetic mission is to fill hearts with optimism and certainty about the mercy of Allah. The believer is promised a reward that never diminishes—an everlasting bliss in the Hereafter. On the other hand, the *munthireen* aspect serves as a divine mercy too, for it gives people the chance to reflect, repent, and return to their Lord before it is too late. The warning is not a threat for its own sake, but a loving call to awaken the conscience.

Then comes the beautiful condition and its even more beautiful result: "So whoever believes and makes things right—no fear shall be upon them, nor shall they grieve." This is a direct, personal promise from Allah to every individual who chooses faith and follows it with righteous action. Belief here is not mere lip service; it is a conviction that transforms the heart and guides the limbs. *Islah* (reformation) means to purify one's intentions, correct one's relationships, and align one's actions with the commands of Allah.

For such people, Allah guarantees two things: no fear regarding their future—because they have secured the pleasure of their Lord and the safety of the Hereafter—and no grief over what they may have missed in this fleeting world. Why would they grieve? Because they know that whatever they sacrificed for the sake of Allah will be compensated with something far greater and everlasting. Their eyes are fixed on the eternal, not the temporary.

This verse is a source of immense comfort for every believer. It teaches us that the path to peace is not through wealth, status, or worldly achievements, but through *iman* (faith) and *amal salih* (righteous deeds). It reassures us that even if the world turns against us, even if we lose material comforts, we have a covenant with Allah that cannot be broken: no fear, no grief, only tranquility and eternal joy.

Let this verse inspire you to renew your faith and refine your deeds. The door of Allah's mercy is wide open, and His promise is true. Whoever steps forward with sincere belief and corrects their ways will find a life of inner peace now and everlasting happiness later. This is the ultimate success, and it is within the reach of every one of us—today, right now, wherever we are.

📜 Verse 46-50 — Al-An'am

Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should take away your hearing and your sight and set a seal upon your hearts, which deity other than Allah could bring them [back] to you?" Look how we diversify the verses; then they [still] turn away.
Say, "Have you considered: if the punishment of Allah should come to you unexpectedly or manifestly, will any be destroyed but the wrongdoing people?"
And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. So whoever believes and reforms - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
But those who deny Our verses - the punishment will touch them for their defiant disobedience.
Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not tell you that I have the depositories [containing the provision] of Allah or that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me." Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Then will you not give thought?"
